To participate in the AVATAR Course “Teaching in a Virtual World”, applicants must:

1. be a secondary school teacher in Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, Italy, Spain or the United Kingdom;
2. have an intermediate level of English;
3. have access to a computer that meets the Second Life (SL) requirements listed here: http://secondlife.com/support/system-requirements/?lang=en-US;
4. have a group of students, 16 years or older, at your school who can participate in the project work in Second Life and have access to computers that meet the abovementioned SL requirements.

How to Apply

Complete and submit the AVATAR course application via email to the partner contact in your country by December 31, 2010.
